Vacation Island Recording Studio, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY

Vacation Island Recording is a multi-room recording and mixing studio owned and operated by Matt Boynton. The studio is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, two blocks from the JM and G trains and a 10 minute walk from the Lorimer L. Vacation Island Recording consists of a 16'x19' live room with 12' ceilings, a 10'x12' dead room, a 14'x17' control room, a small iso booth and two iso closets for amps. So there's plenty of rooms for maximum isolation plus lots of amps, guitars, synthesizers, and a grand piano.

Summer is over. Bummer. We had a good time though, right? It's been busy as usual here at Vacation Island. In June, Matt Boynton mixed a track for Rainbow Arabia, with more to come this month. He also finished the new Vietnam record. Look for it early next year on Mexican Summer. Free Blood was back for more mixing with Matt.
